Ginger Jar is well placed to deliver corporate catering services to events to large or small, creating innovative food to impress your employees or guests. We don’t follow the field in delivering standard sandwich buffets, but rather love to create bespoke menus to suit your needs.

Modern British Canapé Party

Ginger Jar catered for 70 employees at an internal party:

Savoury canapés

  • Mini baked new potato topped with smoked haddock pate and julienned beetroot
  • Mini Yorkshire pudding with rare roast beef and horseradish cream
  • Torn ham hock on a white bread crostini with piccalilli
  • Caramelized red onion, goat’s cheese and chive filo baskets  V
  • Whole meal crostini with pan-fried wild mushrooms, crème fraîche and chive  V
  • Tandoori king prawn and potato skewer with two dipping sauces – mango chutney and raita

A variation on turkey or goose, roast duck is a rich, decadent ingredient  which goes beautifully with the sweet onion accompaniment

Cranberry & stem ginger baked puddings
Seasonal, yet festive ingredients combine in this sumptious pudding which is served with a honey syrup and clotted cream
